The first thing you notice about the M-2 is its very sleek design. This chair looks more like an executive chair than a massage recliner. The remote control of the M-2 is fairly simple to use. It has a built in holder underneath the armrest. This is nice to not have a remote stand which is pretty common on most chairs. The remote has both automatic programs and manual programs. The automatic programs have 3 different timed settings of 5, 10 and 15 minutes. The manual programs allow you to select from 3 manual massage techniques. These include kneading, swaying and rolling. You can also select from 3 back courses. The back courses are full back, lower back and upper back.

The recline on this lounger is from 115 to 170 degrees. The 170 degree recline helps to take the weight off your back and better distribute it for a more relaxing massage. The M-2 has 23 inches of travel for the roller mechanism for the back massage. We like that the chair back is relatively thin and the upholstery covers the back rather than have a hard plastic shell. The chair back and the leg rest operate with manual pistons rather than are motorized. This nice thing with the manual pistons are they bring either the chair back or the leg rest up by themselves.

The Orion has a vibration massage which can be set to three levels of intensity in the seat. This is a soothing massage to help improve the blood flow in the thighs and buttocks. There are 8 rotary massage heads built into the seat. The rotary massage heads can be set to three levels of intensity. They provide a penetrating massage for the buttocks and thighs. There is also an extra seat cushion for dampening the massage intensity.

The leg rest is adjustable in two different ways. You can raise the foot rest up to 90 degrees to a full horizontal position. You can also extend the foot rest out up to 4 inches. This is very convenient to position the leg rest massager exactly where you want on your legs. The calf massage can be set to 3 levels of intensity to provide the level of penetration desired. The leg rest is operated with a manual control lever to raise or lower.

The M-2 Orion massage recliner is one of the best values in its class. This entry level chair provides an effective and thorough full body massage. The recliner comes with a unique Sway massage which is similar to the Hawaiian style massage. The Orion comes with many functions which you would find in many higher priced recliners.
